源自中古英语 liste,与古高地德语 lista(边缘、边界)同源,最初指布料的边缘,后引申为条状排列的概念。
❶ 指一系列按顺序排列的项目或名称,常用于记录、分类或展示信息。
“I made a shopping list before going to the supermarket.”
(去超市前我列了一张购物清单。)
“The teacher called out the list of students' names.”
(老师念出了学生名单。)
❶ 将项目逐条记录下来或按顺序排列,也可表示船只因重量不平衡而倾斜。
