源自中古英语 misdemeanour,由 mis-(错误)和 demeanor(行为)组成,字面意思为"不当行为"。14世纪后期开始使用,16世纪获得法律含义。
❶ 指较轻的违法行为,通常处罚较轻,如罚款或短期监禁。与重罪相比,其社会危害性较小。
