源自piss(小便)的过去分词,18世纪开始引申为醉酒义,20世纪发展出生气义。与荷兰语piesen(饮酒)同源。
❶ 形容非常生气的状态,程度比angry更强,常用于非正式场合。注意在英国英语中另有醉酒的意思。
